I would like to introduce you to Diane Gottsman, national etiquette expert, founder of The Protocol School of Texas, a friend and fellow business professional. Over the years Diane has built a thriving business, conducting sessions all over the United States, regularly featured on several area TV shows.
I have been sitting on the sidelines for a couple of years watching this thing called “social media” not knowing if I was going to jump on board or not. It was 20 years ago that I was saying the exact same thing about technology. It did not take me long to realize back then that if we didn’t jump on the wagon and embrace technology, we’d be left in the dust. And, for that reason, a North SA Chamber technology committee was born. Since that time, the continues to be at the forefront of educating people on technology and social media.
I now believe the same about social media. It is here to stay, and there’s no getting around it. Like it or not, we do have to embrace this universal phenomenon that is completely changing both the professional and personal landscapes of this world we occupy!
